Now for something completely different...

English: Former President of Iraq, Saddam Huss...
Saddam Hussein, poised to debut
as a golf course design concept.
Didn't think  of that one, did

If you're in the West Sussex area of England this weekend, golf with an artistic twist is on offer as part of the Nova Festival of Arts & Music.
"Artist Doug Fishbone has compiled a team of innovative and best-loved British artists to design the country's first bespoke fine art mini golf course. Each hole is being designed by a celebrated artist, leading to a unique interactive experience where visitors are invited to try their luck on the course."
Judging by this interview with the man behind it, expect something way beyond windmills and buried drainpipes:
"There are all kinds of ideas brewing, and it is going to be a great mix. My design hinges around a sculpture of Saddam Hussein that tilts over while you try to putt, referencing the statue that was ripped down from its pedestal in the well-known incident in Baghdad. As far as I know, it is the world’s first Saddam Hussein crazy golf hole. I don’t want to spill the beans on anyone else’s designs as they may get angry with me, but it is going to be a wild course."

Pic of the Day - 'God's Golf Course'. Possibly NW USA but I'm open to offers.
